02The national system

IA-DP plugs into Côte d’Ivoire’s coffee-cocoa traceability system — and adds the science.

Côte d’Ivoire launched a national coffee-cocoa traceability system on 12 June 2026 and made its producer card mandatory on 1 September 2026, with producer registration, farm geolocation and digital payment.

UAA-DP plugs into national traceability systems as a standalone, transparent, plug-and-play service through APIs, and adds the science premium buyers pay for. Protocol v1.2 introduces an explicit national producer ID field, such as the Ivorian producer card number.

03Routes to premium trade

Free-market crops open first.

In Côte d’Ivoire, cocoa and coffee (farmgate prices of 1,200 and 1,300 FCFA/kg for the 2026-27 main crop, announced on 1 September 2026), cashew (400 FCFA/kg for 2026) and cotton trade under administered prices. Oil palm prices follow an interprofessional mechanism.

The State targets 70% workforce insertion. Employers’ FDFP contribution offers a natural co-funding channel for employer-linked programmes. Qualification internships are governed by Decree 2018-33 of 17 January 2018.

Purchase-order finance under the WAEMU banking regime.

The Agritech Trust Fund extends purchase-order finance for passport-verified production. It is designed to be hosted inside a licensed partner bank; in Côte d’Ivoire, under the WAEMU banking regime.
