| 2019–2021 | Sustained negotiation with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and the regulator ART, culminating in a first-class telecommunications licence in 2021. |
| 2022 | Technical launch of the Blockchain Association Cameroon in Douala, educating public and private actors on distributed-ledger technology. |
| 2023 | Public demonstration of carrier-grade Wi-Fi at Digital Week Cameroon, serving over 10,000 active users in the Littoral region with Wi-Fi 6 and OpenRoaming. |
| 2024 | UAA-DP introduced into Cameroonian agriculture with the Ministry of Agriculture and PROFALCAM. Board of UBTS Cameroon S.A. strengthened with regional banking leadership. |
| 2025 | Memorandum of Understanding between partner PIPRA Cameroun S.A. and the Ministry of Commerce establishing the Camtrade Pass national framework for product traceability and anti-counterfeiting. |
| 2026 | FAFE women-entrepreneurs partnership; ATRI national rural-transformation project with the FUTPAC federation across eight strategic agricultural sectors; PROFALCAM partnership on local flours. |
What the journey gave us: a connectivity position earned in the field, a working relationship with ministries and regulators, and a first agricultural traceability programme.
02CA-DP
Sequence
CA-DP launch in Cameroon after the Ivorian launch, within the Foundation horizon (0–3 years).
National system
Cameroon’s ONCC renewed its farm-mapping and geospatial-monitoring partnership on 10 September 2026 for three years. UAA-DP plugs into national systems through open APIs and adds the science of quality.
Governance
UBTS Cameroon S.A. operates under OHADA governance, with its own board and CEO, its P&L, its regulatory relationships and community trust.
